- This is a container in which gold or any other metal could be melted
- This melting pot must have walls that are not very thick so that it doesn’t reduce the furnace efficiency and cause no disorder in the melting process, and if the walls are thin, the furnace heat power will raise and the components may be damaged. According to furnace power and capacity, melting pots are classified into two groups of 3 and 5 kg pots.
- 3kg-pot is used for single-phase furnaces and 5kg pot is used for three-phase furnaces.
